"What's wrong, boy?" the Spyder, arms still extended, did a slow turnaround, its eyes staying on him the whole time. "Is it so hard to gaze upon perfection with your puny little eyes?" It squinted and made a chattering noise, which the boy thought must've been a chuckle, but its eyes were still full of hate when they returned to him. - 'The Spyder in the Cracked Mirror'.

Here are some sketches of Tryllcian, the Emperor Spyder from my novel. He serves as a captor, master, father-figure and quite possibly a worst enemy to the young boy, Niv Spinal.

For him, it's gotta be tough to run on wet surfaces, all legs spazmming outward in every direction.

Anyway fantastic pictures, Tryllcian really is a strange character since he's likeable and dislikeable at the same time...
