(Before reading the description) That starry night made me think of Skywise first: Why isn't he enjoying this view. It's even closer to him. Then I read the text and understood. 
You managed to capture a nicely calm atmosphere with Cutter resting on Nightrunner and looking at these beautiful, colourful stars. They remind me a bit of the blossoms that fireworks can create.
